About the Role
As a Community Companionship Carer, you will play a vital role in supporting adults in your community to live independently, safely, and happily in their own homes. This role focuses on companionship based support helping clients stay socially connected, active, and engaged with the world around them.

Companionship & Social Support
Providing friendly, meaningful companionship to reduce loneliness and isolation.
Supporting clients with social activities such as chatting, reading, hobbies, or playing games.
Accompanying clients on outings, appointments, walks, or community events.
Encouraging independence, confidence, and wellbeing.
Assisting with light household tasks such as meal preparation, tidying, or shopping.
Helping clients maintain routines and stay active.
Offering emotional support and building trusting relationships.
Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns promptly.
Working in line with the organisation’s values, policies, and care standards.
Communicating effectively with clients, families, and the care team.
What We’re Looking For
A kind, patient, and caring nature.
Must live locally in Epsom, Sutton, or surrounding areas
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Reliability, integrity, and a genuine desire to help others.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
A valid driving licence and access to a car.
Experience in care is welcome but not essential—full training provided.
